1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a dumpster rental with Corona Dumpsters ("we," "our," or "us"), you ("customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Corona Dumpsters provides roll-off dumpster rental services for residential, commercial, construction, and industrial waste disposal needs throughout Riverside County, California, and select areas in Orange and San Bernardino Counties.

• Dumpster sizes available: 10-yard lowboy, 15-yard, 20-yard, and 40-yard containers
• Standard rental period as specified at time of booking
• Delivery, pickup, and included tonnage as outlined in your quote
• Extended rental periods available upon request

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Pricing Structure

• All prices quoted include delivery, standard rental period, pickup, and included tonnage
• Over-tonnage charges apply for weight exceeding the included amount
• Additional rental days beyond the standard period incur daily fees
• Prices may vary based on delivery location and material type

3.2 Weight Measurement

All weights are measured at the licensed disposal facility. Over-tonnage is calculated based on the facility's certified scale readings. Weight documentation is available upon request.

3.3 Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon delivery or as otherwise agreed in writing
• We accept cash, check, credit cards, and electronic payments
• Final invoices include any additional charges for over-tonnage or extended rental
• Late payments may incur interest charges at the maximum rate allowed by California law

4. Delivery and Placement

4.1 Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate delivery address and placement instructions
• Ensure adequate space and clearance for safe dumpster placement (minimum 60 feet length, 14 feet height clearance)
• Ensure the delivery area is accessible and free from overhead obstructions (wires, trees, etc.)
• Obtain any required permits for street placement (customer responsibility)
• Protect your property—we recommend using plywood under the dumpster for driveway protection

4.2 Delivery Schedule

We strive to meet all scheduled delivery times. However, delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.

4.3 Failed Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to customer-related issues (inaccessible location, no one present when required, incorrect address), a trip charge may apply for rescheduling.

5. Prohibited Materials

The following items are strictly prohibited from being placed in our dumpsters:

• Hazardous waste (paints, solvents, chemicals, pesticides, herbicides)
• Automotive fluids (oil, gasoline, antifreeze, brake fluid)
• Asbestos-containing materials
• Batteries (car batteries, household batteries)
• Tires
• Electronics requiring special disposal (TVs, computers, monitors)
• Liquids of any kind
• Medical waste or biohazardous materials
• Propane tanks or compressed gas cylinders
• Explosives, ammunition, or fireworks
• Radioactive materials

Special Items: Mattresses, appliances, and certain other items may require additional fees. Please contact us before loading these items.

Penalty for Prohibited Items: If prohibited items are discovered in the dumpster, customer will be charged for proper disposal, special handling fees, and any fines imposed by disposal facilities. Costs typically range from $150–$500+ depending on the material.

6. Loading Requirements

• Do not load materials above the top rim of the dumpster (level-load only)
• Do not overload the dumpster beyond its weight capacity
• Ensure materials are distributed evenly for safe transport
• We reserve the right to refuse pickup of improperly loaded or overloaded dumpsters
• Additional charges may apply if dumpster must be partially unloaded before pickup

7. Rental Period and Extensions

• Standard rental periods are specified at time of booking (typically 7 days for 10-yard and 40-yard; flexible for 15-yard and 20-yard)
• Contact us before the pickup date to request an extension
• Daily or weekly extension fees apply to extended rentals
• We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate extension requests based on availability

8. Pickup and Access

• Ensure the dumpster is accessible for pickup on the scheduled date
• Remove any items placed on or around the dumpster that may obstruct pickup
• If pickup cannot be completed due to lack of access, additional trip charges may apply
• Notify us immediately if you need to change the pickup date

9. Property Damage and Liability

9.1 Customer Responsibility

Customer is responsible for any damage to their property caused by dumpster placement, including but not limited to damage to driveways, lawns, pavement, underground utilities, or septic systems. We recommend using protective boards (plywood) under the dumpster.

9.2 Our Liability

While we take care to avoid property damage, Corona Dumpsters is not liable for damage caused by:

• Underground utilities not properly marked or disclosed by customer
• Soft or unstable ground conditions
• Normal wear and tear from dumpster weight
• Damage resulting from customer's failure to provide accurate placement instructions

We carry general liability insurance. Claims for property damage must be reported within 48 hours of occurrence with photographic evidence and detailed description.

10. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• 24+ hours before delivery: Full refund of any deposit paid
• Less than 24 hours before delivery: 50% cancellation fee
• After delivery: No refund; standard rental and pickup charges apply
• Cancellations due to weather or circumstances beyond our control: full refund or reschedule at no charge

11. SMS and Communication Consent

By providing your phone number and consenting to SMS updates, you agree to receive text messages from Corona Dumpsters regarding:

• Rental confirmation and delivery updates
• Pickup reminders and schedule changes
• Important service notifications
• Occasional promotional offers and special deals

12. Permits

If dumpster placement requires a permit (e.g., street placement), obtaining the permit is the customer's responsibility. Corona Dumpsters can provide guidance but is not responsible for obtaining permits or violations resulting from unpermitted placement.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather conditions, strikes, equipment failure, acts of government, or pandemics.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Riverside County, California.

14.2 Dispute Process

Before initiating legal action, both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct negotiation. If unresolved, parties may pursue mediation or arbitration before proceeding to litigation.

15. Changes to Terms

Corona Dumpsters reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitute acceptance of the modified terms.
